By this point, you’ve probably heard of essential oils. Maybe your best friend uses them or you heard about them in your moms group. But what exactly are they and what is all the fuss about?
Essential oils are the oils from plants
Essential oils are the life blood of a plant. They are distilled with so much care and can aid in keeping our bodies healthy and well. Essential oils are composed of extremely small molecules that can actually pas through our tissues and into our cells. Our body systems then carry these molecules all over our body within minutes!
Not all essential oils are created equal!
Not all oils are safe to use in the ways Young Living oils are. Oils that are found at the health store or grocery store cannot be ingested like Young Living oils can. Other essential oils have labels claiming 100% purity while containing additives, fillers and synthetic oils. Yikes!! Young Living is the ONLY company that grows it’s own plants from start to finish, owns their own farms and has the highest and strictest of standards.
So, how do I use essential oils?

YL essential oils can be applied directly to the skin, but be sure the check every label for dilution suggestions! Some oils need to be diluted with carrier oil (grapeseed, coconut, olive oil, etc) while some can be applied “neat” or undiluted directly to the skin. Putting oils on your feet is a quick and efficient way of getting the oils into your system. Essential oils also make a great perfume!
AROMATICALLY
Essential oils can also be directly inhaled from the bottle or by using a diffuser. This is the quickest way for your body to use the oils plus your house will always smell amazing!
