We set up Alex’s big boy bed! He looks like such a munchkin in it, it’s adorable. Polka Dot Cowl – Free Crochet Pattern
I’m in love with this cowl. I searched all over to see if there was a pattern to make a polka dot anything (without having to make the dots and sew them on) and I found a great tutorial (for a blanket) but you had to use a single crochet (not happening). Single crochet takes waaaaaay too long and I definitely like a crochet project that I can get done in a day. Call me impatient, I’m totally cool with that. I like instant results. Nursery/Big Boy Room Plans
People keep asking if we have the nursery done and I have to stifle a chuckle because it looks like this. Okay, so that blue artwork is gone and we have moved the twin bed into Alex’s room and the curtains have been switched out, but otherwise this is the “nursery”. We plan on moving the wood furniture from the nursery to Alex’s room because it matches the headboard for his big boy bed. This was John’s bedroom set growing up. Well, it’s finally time for me to finish Alex’s nursery. I mean…start Alex’s big kid room. Um, you know what I mean. I never got around to finishing the decorations in Alex’s nursery.
