Hiiii! I missed you all last week! Life was totally happening over here. And by life, I’m telling you that my kids weren’t sleeping and I was a walking zombie. But, luckily, they are super cute.
I did manage to pull myself out of the stupor long enough to get a few things done these past few days, though. 🙂
Remember my super cool jute mirror that I made from a tray and some twine? It was at the bottom of my stairs, and I had also added some things around it to liven up the wall a bit.
I wasn’t 100% sold on the arrangement. Are we really arrow people? It might be a little too tribal for me. I’m not sure, but I’m kind of obsessed with all of the arrows I’m seeing on Pinterest, so I figured, why not?
Well, last week I was giving our walls in the kitchen a little touch up paint (which turned into basically repainting half of the wall) and I decided to just go ahead and paint the hallway while I had everything out. So, down came the mirror and its friends.
I put back up the sign I made from pallets and liked the simplicity, so I knew the mirror and arrows would need a new home.
I thought they would add something nice to the gallery wall in the playroom, so I gave it a shot!
Whatdya think? I think the arrows feel less tribal and more playful in here with the rest of the bright colors. And the mirror kind of helps tie in the twine on the signs I made to the right.
I think I need to paint that clock a super fun color, though. Any suggestions? I’m feeling yellow or orange?? I also feel like there could be one more something to the right of the chalkboard. Only time will tell!
Have a great day!
