Oh, hey there, 2015! I am out of blog hibernation here (finally) to bring you our 2014 highlights! In case you missed it, I posted our house tour so you can all snoop around my house like I know you want to 😉 I hope you all had a magical holiday season with your families and friends! Is it okay to say I’m glad to be back to a semi-normal schedule? As much as I love Christmastime, it’s exhausting!
So, 2014 was a pretty big year for the Reineke family! I’d say our biggest accomplishment was welcoming Christian into the world! Oh my gosh, was he really that little?? He is 10 months old now; somebody hold me.
This next post is by far my most pinned and most visited. I would have never guessed! Although, I do love love love this crochet football hat; Alex still wears it almost everyday! I even created a slightly larger version for those bigger kiddos in your life! Also, did you see our Buckeyes are in the National Championship Game?? What a crazy year they had! Go Bucks!
I also let you guys in on my other most favorite hat pattern! I know Christmas is over, but Christian is still rocking this Rudolph crochet hat! 🙂
Our kitchen is something we are SO proud of! It cost us under $300! We started back in February when we put up the back splash. Then, shortly after Christian was born, we got to work on painting all of our cabinets. I cannot even begin to tell you the change this made! It makes our main living space so much lighter and brighter and happier! I could dance in there everyday. Oh, wait, I already to that!
Two of our most popular “craft” type posts were from the pallet clock that I made with my dad and Alex & Christian’s train table (that I hacked from an Ikea Lack table).
And we can’t forget about the blog’s mid life crisis where we changed our name!
Thank you all so much for your support this past year! This blog grew a lot in 2014, and I hope to keep growing! I am so grateful for everyone who stops by here to read what crazy things I’m up to from day to day. I have lots of fun things planned for 2015, so stick around! If you are new here, don’t miss a post, project, or giveaway and subscribe to our email list! We’d be lucky to have you 🙂
Have a happy Monday and don’t forget to cheer on the Buckeyes tonight!!!
