Morning!
I’m going to preface this post by telling you all of my pictures are currently trapped on my Mac that decided to stop charging. Awesome! So I’m using handy dandy iPhone photos for you =]
A few months ago, when the temps started to take a nosedive, I found myself needing a scarf for Alex. Giving him an actual scarf made me somewhat nervous because he tends to think wrapping things around his neck is fun. Notsomuch. So I figured I could whip him up a little cowl before we headed out for the day. It was so easy and took me less than 20 minutes, I made it while he ate breakfast.
I figured since it doesn’t seem to be warming up anytime soon around here, I would share with you all!
What you’ll need:
P Crochet Hook
Chunky Yarn – I used Lion Brand Hometown USA in Houston Cream
Pattern:
Ch 35, join two ends of ch with sl st to create a circle
Round 1: Ch 3, dc in each CH around. Join with sl st.
Round 2-5: Ch 3, dc in each DC around. Join with sl st.
You can adjust this so easily. To make the circumference smaller or larger, just increase or decrease your initial chain. To make it thicker, just add more rounds!
Let me know if you have any questions at all!
