This year, instead of carving pumpkins, we decided to let the little guy in on the action and whip out some paint! He even got to choose his colors. Not a bad pallet, some calming neutrals for his pumpkin.
We armed him with two paint brushes (one bristle, one foam, for some artistic variety. You know.)
I must say, we were pretty impressed with his technique and artistic ability. And he only got distracted once (twice?) by an airplane.
Caught red blue/gray/green handed trying to paint the front porch!
It was really fun watching him concentrate so hard on painting. Even more fun that we didn’t have to clean out pumpkin guts this year! Happy Fall!
